Roger and Stella, June 2019

Right to Left: Roger, Brother Alex, Eva (Alex' wife), our Dear Mother Pauline, Brother Jim. The photo was taken by Roger's wife Stella, in June 2019, on the top of Grouse Mountain. On that day, we took the gondola up to the mountain, while Roger hiked up on the "Grouse Grind", a vertical hiking trail that was Roger's favorite; so much so that he kept a record of having been on it for 119 times, between 2014-2018. His Personal Best was 59 minutes, which he achieved in 2015.

Quad-IO: Roger making an important statement.

Kens-Blackboard: In 2010, Peter Wooster was cleaning out his basement and needed to get rid of the blackboard that Ken Iverson had used at I.P.Sharp Associates, and had ended up in Peter’s office in Toronto after Ken left the company. Dyalog decided that we wanted to pay for it to be shipped to Basingstoke, where it remains in active use in our main meeting room. The picture shows Roger and John Scholes taking delivery. With backs to the camera Geoff Streeter and Karen Shaw, in the background Jay Foad and intern Ronald Chan (winner of the first Dyalog problem-solving contest).
